Our art classes are designed to accommodate participants of all ability levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, our skilled instructors will guide you through various techniques and mediums. We have three new classes being offered this summer: improv, printmaking, and sculpture. Discover something new and give them a try!

Wednesday class

Improv Acting

  • Time: 2:30PM-4PM
  • Location: Radiant Community Arts
  • Instructor: Jeff Crews
  • Cost: $100

Step into the spotlight and discover the power of spontaneity! Our improv acting class is perfect for beginners and aspiring performers who want to build confidence, think on their feet, and have fun while learning the fundamentals of improvisation. You’ll explore classic improv games and essential techniques for listening, responding, and collaborating with others in the moment. Whether you’re looking to boost your stage skills or just try something new, this supportive and energetic class will help you grow as a performer—and as a communicator.

THURSDAY class

Printmaking

  • Time 2 PM-3:30 PM
  • Location: 110 E. 11th Ave., Suite C
  • Instructor: Hannah Becker
  • Cost: $120

Make your own printed art. Printmaking has various applications and allows artists to reproduce their work easily. Print different colors and layers of your work, and learn how to make your own stamps and print your own t-shirts. Artist Hannah Becker will teach a new form of printmaking each week, including lino prints, gelli plates, potato and cardboard stamps, screen printing, and fabric prints. Artists can learn how to make their patterns used for wrapping paper, wall art, collage materials, clothing, or many other print applications.

TUESDAY class

Mixed Media Sculpture

  • Time: 2-3:30
  • Location: 110 E. 11th Ave., Suite C
  • Instructor: April Reign
  • Cost: $120

April will guide participants in making 3D art pieces using papier mache, air-dry clay, cardboard, and recycled materials. Each week will focus on a different aspect of creating sculptures, such as armature, structure, papier mache mixing, volume, detailing, painting, and decorating.
