About Us

About Radiant Community Arts
Radiant Community Arts (Radiant) is a nonprofit organization that is increasing access to the arts to strengthen communities. Founded as the Arts & Culture Program with the Oregon Supported Living Program, we grew into a full-time studio and art gallery and became an independent organization in 2025.
We offer affordable art classes, workshops, and events at our arts center in Eugene, Oregon. We also host a gallery where artists of all levels and abilities are able to display and sell their work. We will continue to expand our offerings to create as many opportunities for artistic expression as we can.
Our classes are open to all adults over 18, and we welcome all skill levels and abilities. We believe in inclusion and reducing barriers to artistic expression.

Our Approach At Radiant
We meet people where they are, not where we think they should be. As a dedicated makerspace and educational center, we take our own approach to making art accessible to everyone, regardless of ability level or background.
Radiant Community Arts thrives through the dedication of our instructors, staff, and artists. Our experienced team combines expertise in arts education and accessibility accommodations, while our diverse community of artists showcases the power of inclusive creative spaces. From first-time creators to experienced practitioners, each person contributes to making our studio a vibrant hub of artistic expression and growth.

Classes for Everyone
At the heart of our work is a special approach to accessible art programming. Our methods combine creative freedom with structured support, ensuring that art-making is accessible to everyone. Art education for adults enables lifelong learning, encourages creative expression, and builds community connections. It provides opportunities for personal growth, emotional well-being, and skill development, so our artists can explore new passions or refine existing talents.
We work with professional artists in our community to teach engaging classes not offered anywhere else. Whether you are joining us for open studio or learning a specific skill, we know we can all learn from each other, and we all need encouragement and support.

Making A Difference
Radiant Community Arts evolved from the Arts and Culture Program of Oregon Supporting Living Program (OSLP), building on decades of service to the Eugene-Springfield community. Our work is transforming how communities approach accessible arts education and programming, creating ripples of change that extend far beyond our studio walls.
Accessible art education means breaking down barriers—whether financial, physical, or social—so that everyone, regardless of ability, background, or resources, can engage with the arts. It fosters inclusion, strengthens cultural identity, and provides a platform for diverse voices to be heard. This accessibility enriches communities by encouraging creativity, collaboration, and a shared sense of belonging.
