Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just beginning to explore your creative potential, our diverse range of classes offers something for everyone. From movement and dance to hands-on crafts and fine arts, here’s what’s happening this season at our studio. Classes begin Tuesday, October 7th and run through December 12th, with no classes the week of Thanksgiving.

Tuesday Classes

Adaptive Dance (10-11:30 AM, $100)

Our inclusive dance program welcomes participants of all abilities and mobility levels. This gentle movement class focuses on creative expression, body awareness, and joy through adapted choreography that can be modified for seated or standing participation.

Afternoon Open Studio (1-4 PM, $135)

Our open studio sessions provide a supportive environment where you can work on personal art projects with access to our supplies and guidance from our instructor and staff.

Wednesday Classes

Open Studio Lite (11 AM-1 PM, $120)

A shorter version of our popular open studio format, perfect for those who want creative time without the full-time commitment. Bring your own projects or use our materials to experiment with new techniques.

Intro to Hand Sewing (5 weeks, 10/7 to 11/4, 2-3:30 PM, $65)

Learn the fundamentals of hand sewing in this comprehensive beginner series. You’ll master basic stitches, work with different fabrics, and complete several small projects while building confidence with needle and thread.

Automata Making (4 weeks, 11/12 to 12/10, 2-3:30 PM, $95)

Discover the fascinating world of mechanical art! Local artist Gary Spetzler will guide you through making adorably animated structures that will delight you and your loved ones. Create your own moving sculptures using simple mechanisms, gears, and creative materials. No engineering experience necessary – just curiosity and imagination.

Thursday Classes

Open Studio (10 AM-1 PM, $135)

Our flagship open studio session provides three hours of creative freedom, offering access to a wide range of materials and tools. Perfect for ongoing projects or spontaneous artistic exploration.

Clay Sculpting (2-4 PM, $140)

Get your hands dirty with clay! Learn hand-building techniques from our instructor, April Reign. From functional pottery to sculptural pieces, discover the ancient art of ceramics in a relaxed environment. We’ll get your pieces fired for you between classes.

Friday Classes

Mosaic Musings (10-11:30 AM, $125)

Create mosaic artwork using stained glass or tile. This meditative art form combines planning and spontaneity as you build colorful, textured pieces that catch and reflect light beautifully.
