ACCESSIBLE ART PROGRAMS

Summer Classes

July 14, 2026 - September 11th, 2026

Summer term is nine weeks long with one class session per week and includes the cost of materials. Some classes are only 4/5 weeks long and begin halfway through the term.

Classes are open to adults 18 and over. No previous experience is required. Class registration is open until the first class begins.

Quilting for Modern Folks

Thursdays Aug 13-September 10th 2:00PM-3:30PM

Already got the sewing basics down? From machine to hand sewing, learn to make quilted totes and pillowcases in a variety of styles! Whether you want to create a scene or just practice with different fabric patters, you will finish the class with a project that is completely your own! Everyone will be asking where you got it from. $75 per person, all supplies included.

Perfecting the Performance: Improv & Acting

Tuesdays Aug 11-September 8th 2:00PM-3:30PM

Join Jeff Crews in a 5 week long exploration of improvisation and Acting. Have an act or performance piece you have been workshopping? Need a stage to perform but have never found the right venue? Then we have the space for you. Whether its a puppet act, monologue, musical number or comedy due Jeff will help you plot spacing, run lines, and practice tone and technique. At the end of the term join us for a production on a real stage! This is a great thing to add to your acting repertoire. $50 per person.

FUNdamentals of Wire Jewelry

Thursdays August 20^th , 27^th and September 3^rd from 4PM-5:30PM.

Brush up on your wire work and get ready for fall by creating your own jewelry pendant, bracelet and earring set. With an emphasis on natural beads and crystals you are sure to find some jewels to adorn yourself. Learn how to properly close jewelry as well as how to wrap non-traditional stone and pendant shapes. $65 per person, all supplies included.

Puppetry for Beginners

Tuesdays 2PM-3:30PM September 15th, 22nd, 29th.

The people yearn for puppets! Want to create a fun and exciting friend to add to your act or just have around the house? Theater aficionado Jessica Baker will help you create the perfect pal. She will even show you how to effectively move puppets across stages in life like ways! Want to create something for our Menagerie of Make Believe show? Jessica will help make your animal dreams come true, mythical or based in reality!

Drop-in Open Studio

Can’t commit to 9 weeks of dedicated art practice? Join us during our open studio time and pay $15 to come in and create with our supplies or your own.

If you just need a large space or want to try out a new medium without paying for a whole new hobby, this is a great opportunity for you! We provide all the supplies and instructors to guide you through our space.
