LOCAL ART PROGRAMS

Our classes provide a supportive environment for developing your artistic skills and expressing your creativity. Classes range each term from eight to ten weeks, and all materials are included in the price.

Registration for the Spring Term is now closed.

Scholarship Applications for the Summer term are open May 19 – June 2nd.

Registration for the Summer term opens on June 3rd at 8 a.m. Classes fill quickly, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot. Class prices and descriptions are listed below.

Summer Classes

July 15 - September 12, 2025

Get creative this Summer! Summer term is nine weeks and includes the cost of materials. Classes are open to adults 18 and over. No previous experience is required.

TUESDAY class

Open Studio Tuesday

  • Time: 10AM-1PM
  • Location: Location: 110 E. 11th Ave., Suite C
  • Instructor: April Reign
  • Cost $120

In our unique open studio class, artists can work independently on their own projects, try out new mediums, or work collaboratively with others.

TUESDAY class

Mixed Media Sculpture

  • Tuesdays 2-3:30
  • Instructor: April Reign
  • $120

April will guide participants in making 3D art pieces using papier mache, air-dry clay, cardboard, and recycled materials. Each week will focus on a different aspect of creating sculptures, such as armature, structure, papier mache mixing, volume, detailing, painting, and decorating.

Wednesday Theatre

Improv Acting

  • Time: 2:30PM-4PM

Step into the spotlight and discover the power of spontaneity! Our improv acting class is perfect for beginners and aspiring performers who want to build confidence, think on their feet, and have fun while learning the fundamentals of improvisation. You’ll explore classic improv games and essential techniques for listening, responding, and collaborating with others in the moment. Whether you’re looking to boost your stage skills or just try something new, this supportive and energetic class will help you grow as a performer—and as a communicator.

THURSDAY class

THURSDAY Art Class

Printmaking

  • Time: 2 pm to 3:30 pm
  • Instructor: Hannah Becker
  • $120

Make your own printed art. Printmaking has various applications and allows artists to reproduce their work easily. Print different colors and layers of your work, and learn how to make your own stamps and print your own t-shirts. Artist Hannah Becker will teach a new form of printmaking each week, including lino prints, gelli plates, potato and cardboard stamps, screen printing, and fabric prints. Artists can learn how to make their patterns used for wrapping paper, wall art, collage materials, clothing, or many other print applications.

FRIDAY class

Mosaic Musings

  • Time: 10AM-11:30AM
  • Location: 110 E. 11th Ave., Suite
  • Instructor: Stephanie Jackson $120

This class will serve as an introduction to the art of mosaics! Participants will become familiar with the tools and techniques of mosaics while developing skills to create their own pieces.
