11th Annual So Small Miniature Art Auction

Since it began as Oregon Supported Living Program’s (OSLP) Arts & Culture program in 2012, Radiant Community Arts has broken down barriers to the arts. One of the ways we’re able to do this is through the generous support of donors and business partners within our community.

In 2014, we started our So Small Miniature Art Auction, an annual event that allows artists to test their creativity and give back to the arts community. Artists create works that are “so small” (roughly 3 x 3 inches) and donate them to our program for our auction. All proceeds from this event support our programming, and we’ve been thrilled to see this event grow more and more each year.

Our call for art for this year’s So Small is now open! Between July 17th and September 5th, we will be accepting donated art for our 11th annual auction. We ask that artists submit no more than 10 pieces for this event.

We will also be hosting a series of workshops leading up to So Small, taught by Studio Manager Hannah Becker. These workshops will be opportunities for some guidance in crafting your small art! They are on Monday, August 31st, and Wednesday, September 16th, from 1 – 5 PM, at our studio.

This year’s So Small Miniature Art Auction will be held on Sunday, September 20th, from 12 – 5 PM at 5th Street Market Alley. Radiant Community Arts is grateful to OBIE Companies for their generous donation of the 5th Street Market Alley Space.

We’ll be sharing more updates soon! In the meantime, we can’t wait to see your miniature art!
